LogiGear University announces the launch of a new, free video series on Testing in DevOps and Continuous Testing which is available today.

There’s no doubt that DevOps is taking over software development. Many companies are now figuring out how DevOps will fit in with their current Agile or Scrum practices. This gives them a great opportunity to fix scrumbutt practices in order to take the necessary steps toward DevOps. It is essential that test teams are ready and knowledgeable, with practices and ideas in place to begin this journey. This video series is meant to equip anyone in development who would like to better understand testing in DevOps, especially test managers and testers who must be armed with information as practices are set up and optimized. The series focuses on both general understanding and practices, with some opinions on the culture shifts needed to get DevOps /Continuous Testing started right in your organization.

Continuous Testing leads to Continuous Delivery. Continuous Delivery is the core practice for Dev and Test teams to achieve in DevOps.

This five-part video series is a survey of the current landscape in DevOps and Continuous Delivery. The focus here is on Testing. From an overview of DevOps and the practices to make DevOps, the series goes into lower level detail of test strategy changes and test automation in Continuous Testing. The series also discusses what you can expect from other teams, primarily the Ops / IT teams in DevOps and what you need to get started on the DevOps Journey.
